Given the cross-over of tools and techniques between ornamental turning and general woodturning, the following woodturning associations may provide you with valuable resources. For example, the American Association of Woodturners has 275 local chapters throughout the world where groups of interested woodturners gather to improve their woodturning skills. Regular meetings often feature demonstrations. Chapters often have a library of books and videos. Some groups even have members with experience in ornamental turning!
